The Institute for National Defense and Security Research announced three annual reports yesterday (13^th) that referred Mainland China as “China”, and was falsely reported by the media that the reports were announced by the Ministry of National Defense and military units, which caused confusion and misunderstanding for the outside world. The Ministry of National Defense hereby clarifies that each chapter of the three annual reports published by the Institute for National Defense and Security Research is written by different researcher, hence both “China” and “Mainland China” can be seen in the reports and there is no need for excessive interpretation.
